  • Role Overview

    Logistics Support Specialist, Plymouth Meeting, PA

     

    The Logistics Support Specialist works in a warehouse environment where the prime duty is to support the shipping activities from the logistics facility including picking orders and delivering them to the deployment holding area for the benefit of the Installation Specialists. The other duties will include packing as well as QC of staged shipments.

    Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence

    • Perform general physical activities in warehouse, loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials and using material handling equipment
    • Read work orders to pick items required
    • Fill and complete order receipts, and assembled orders in shipping containers
    • Transport filled orders to and from shipping area
    • Mark containers with identifying information
    • Quality Control of Shipments
    • Maintaining records of QC pass and failures
    • Creating all necessary shipping documentation
    • Scheduling Courier pickups
    • Perform general cleaning duties of warehouse
    • Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in sequence
    • Assist Inventory audits as required
    • Report any Health and Safety issues as and when identified in the warehouse
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

    • Minimum education: High School graduation (US) or equivalent.
    • Computer literate. Must have excellent time management, communications, and organizational skills.
    • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with Inventory control and shipping teams
    • Able to multi-task and work with multiple team members. 
    • Work shifts as necessary
    • Must be a team oriented person with a “can do” attitude
