    Senior Logistics Deployment Coordinator - Sandwich Kent

     

    The Senior Logistics Deployment Coordinator supports the Logistics Planning Manager and Customer Delivery teams to make sure that client deliverables are shipped correctly and on time.

    Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence

    Responsibilities:

    • Handles daily project logistics correspondence between Logistics and the Project Teams
    • Attend internal project kick off meetings.
    • Attend client calls as requested
    • Work with the Procurement team and the Inventory team to make sure study supplies are ordered / allocated and organize equipment to be in the relevant warehouses prior to study go live
    • Generate where necessary, Commercial invoice documentation for shipping tickets ensuring that the queue is maintained
    • Ensure that device database, including new products that are added to CRF Health Portfolio, is maintained
    • Collaborate with logistics shipping team with regard to urgent shipments
    • Create Shipping tasks in NetSuite when necessary
    • Able to run reports in a timely manner and ensure they are accurate before sending to the relevant person/s or team. 
    • Assist Line Manager to maintain device / country requirement export database
    • Assist Line Manager to improve and maintain shipping forecast
    • Plan and run 1:1 team member meetings
    • Manage holiday/absence approval process via People Hub 
    • Must be able to assist Line Manager to close out NCR's in a timely manner
    • Able to communicate with individuals in a motivational and engaging manner
    • Able to determine when and how to treat information confidentially   
    • Collaborating and sharing knowledge, process changes (UK and US LDC). To include process improvements that have a benefit to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery or People 
    • Able to follow and apply the Performance Management Process (PMP) for setting SMART objectives and training needs for team members 
    • Able to deliver feedback in a professional manner using an agreed feedback mode
    • Review capacity and assist Line Manager in allocating resource to the delivery teams

    Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

    Requirements:

    • A background working in a logistics role, ideally for at least 2 years.
    • Minimum education: GCSE (England) / High School graduation (US) or country equivalent.
    • Understanding and/or experience of clinical trials / pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
    • Must have excellent time management, communications, and organizational skills.
    • Customer Service experience essential
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with the project teams, other streams and suppliers
    • Able to multi-task and work with multiple team members. 
    • Must be a team oriented person with a “can do” attitude.
    • Must be analytical
