    We at CRF Health are pioneers in digitalizing patient information collection in clinical trials. We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to strengthen our ability to design and implement modern Web applications in the fast-growing business.


    We work with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Docker and OpenShift to name a few.


    Our R&D team in Helsinki is growing and we are looking for a Software Architect for full-time position to strengthen Agile Scrum team development effort. Our platform is based on the J2EE architecture and most programming is done in the Java language, mobile applications have been crafted with JavaScript and Cordova.


    You will work full-time in a dynamic agile team environment that provides continuous challenges and opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge in new areas. Your position will be based in Helsinki R&D team.


    Our TrialMax® software platform is the market-leading eCOA (Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments) solution for clinical trials. Patients, clinicians and caregivers around the world use this platform daily to report outcomes in clinical trials by using mobile devices and personal computers. The regulated nature of our business is challenging, but you will soon learn this exciting new world with the help of our domain experts.

    Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

    • Strong architecture skills: You have proven track record of designing and building highly scalable, maintainable, secure and robust software.
    • Experience: You have strong knowledge and experience of modern JavaScript frameworks, web technologies and e.g. cross-platform mobile client development.
    • Communication: You have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written. You understand the importance of clearly communicating the architecture vision and reasons behind it. You can help and coach your colleagues.
    • Passion: You feel ownership over everything you ship. You have high design and coding standards and passion towards high quality.
    • M.Sc/B.Sc Degree in software engineering, computer science or information technology

      Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in software development environment and knowledge of software architecture design
