  • Position Summary



    Primarily responsible for customer pricing and contracts for CRF Health's products and services.  Your main client base will be Mid-Tier Pharmaceutical companies and CRO's. You will work closely with our teams in the UK and the US. Your particular area of expertise will be around the pricing, and we will develop you to be fully competent with Pricing and Contracts. There will be a lot of interaction with different parts of the business including Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal and of course others in the Contracts and Proposals department.


    Assists with the review and execution of vendor contracts.  Works with senior Sales personnel and Marketing in the setting of new processes, terms and conditions. Provides weekly updates of bids/awards/New Signed Contracts to internal stakeholders. Provides mentoring and training to peers. Assists Senior Management with special projects and assignments as needed. Works autonomously and provides back-up support to the Director, Contracts and Proposals as needed.


    You will need very strong Excel expertise so plesae incorporate you experience of vlookups, pivot tables etc in to your CV. We have a particular interest in your Pricing experience and will provide training in to the contracts and proposals aspects but again, please evidence Pricing in your CV.


    • Works autonomously in the creation of the project budget for customer bids which requires minimal revisions by Director, Contracts and Proposals;
    • Generates the initial draft of the Statement of Work (SOW) i.e. business terms based on pricing proposal;
    • Generates and finalizes all Change Orders per client needs throughout the study;
    • Negotiates business terms of sales contracts on behalf of the company’s sales management in Director, Contracts and Proposal's absence;
    • Coordinates with the company’s legal staff for review of all contract documents;
    • Work with Business Development team to develop and implement contract strategies for clients, including preferred client pricing arrangements;
    • Oversees the entering of signed contracts into the internal systems;
    • Updates internal systems with pertinent budget and contract information on an ongoing basis;
    • Leads procurement process of study specific hardware, includes training analysts on Purchase Order fulfillment and providing device forecasts to CRF Health management;
    • Participates in client calls when negotiating pricing and contracts;
    • Interview, train and mentor new analysts within the group;
    • Provides ongoing support to other analysts as needed;
    • Review and approve individual pricing from other analysts in Director, Contract and Proposal's absence;
    • Assist the Director, Contracts and Proposals with the development of training materials and contract, and budget templates for Contracts and Proposals Department on an as needed basis;
    • Assigns work to other analysts as needed in Director of Contract and Proposal's absence;
    • Main point of contract for device vendors, including attendance at face-to-face meetings and ensuring the proper vendor agreements are in place;
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal clients in order to promote inter departmental communication;
    • Works on other projects as needed and as requested by Senior Management;
    • Travel as necessary;
    • Other responsibilities assigned as required.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in business is required or equivalent work experience;
    • Minimum of three (3) years working in pricing, contracts and/or proposals;
    • Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
    • Minimum of three (3) years working primarily with Microsoft Excel;
    • Must have excellent negotiation, time management, communication, decision making, human relations, analytical skills, and organizational skills;
    • Basic knowledge of applicable contract business terms a plus;
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization;
    • Must be a team oriented person with a “can do” attitude.
